5 Arrested In Sanford Heroin Bust

(Sanford, Maine) - Maine State Police say 5 people are facing charges for Trafficking and Possessing Heroin.

25 year old Derek Gerrish, 26 year old Erika Gerrish, 46 year old Michael Gerrish, 48 year old Donald Nordmann and 49 year old Cynthia Powers , all of 7 North Street in Sanford, were arrested after a two-month investigation into heroin sales in the Sanford area.

Police confiscated approximately 19 grams of heroin, scales, packing materials and drug ledgers in the raid.

The 5 are being held in the York County Jail.
