A group of New Hampshire residents using the campaign name "NHexit" have decided they've had enough and want out of the United States.

Using the a similar rallying cry as Britain's "Brexit", the "NHexit" held their first demonstration outside the Norris Cotton Federal Building in Manchester on Sunday night. They had 13 protesters.

Dave Ridley, founder of the movement and a member of the Free State Project, feels the United States government is corrupt, taxes are too high, and citizens' right to privacy is slowly being taken away.

He also would like to see a shopping mall replace the Norris Cotton building in Manchester.

Here is a video from their demonstration:

Following the Civil War (the last time anyone made a serious bid at seceding), the Supreme Court ruled it illegal but that isn't going to stop Ridley. At this point, he just wants to be heard and maybe get a state representative to submit an independence bill.

Good luck Mr. Ridley.
