A Memorial Day Weekend Reminder To Wear Your Seatbelt

(Kittery, Maine) - New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts law enforcement officials are reminding motorists that seat belts save lives.

The national Click it or Ticket campaign kicked-off this week as officials from the three states gathered in Kittery. The effort is designed to increase law enforcement participation by coordinating seal belt enforcement and providing seat belt facts for motorists.

State and local police are also expecting to have additional officers on the road over the holiday weekend looking for impaired or aggressive drivers.

Maine has been fatality free over the past 3 Memorial Day weekends.
