The Fish family traveled to the Deerfield Fair Sunday morning to stuff our faces and check out some animals.  The first thing we did was grab a nice, light, healthy breakfast to power us through the day, consisting of fried dough nuggets and freshly squeezed lemonade.  I always go with fried dough nuggets if offered rather than your typical flat fried dough.  Easier to eat on the go and easier to share.

We caught some of the sheep dog demonstration and then we moved on to check out the farm animals.  My daughter loves to watch animals so we spent most of our time visiting the sheep, cows, horses, llamas and goats.  They had a monkey and a couple of kangaroos at the fair too.  Alright, enough animals, time to eat again.

We grabbed sausages and fries and took in a horse competition.  I hope my daughter didn't distract any of the horses or riders, she was yelling 'horsey!' and making horse noises as they trotted by.  I found that humorous.

It started to get pretty hot and it was getting close to football watching time, so we grabbed an ice cream and left the fair.  Mission accomplished, gorged on fine fair food and saw a bunch of animals.  Overall, a nice little Sunday morning at the Deerfield Fair.
