The video provides those without "security clearance" an impressive view of the dilapidated, and likely haunted, prison. 

Also known as "Alcatraz of the East," the naval prison that straddles the Maine-New Hampshire state border can only be seen from those on a boat (like our Rockin' on the River cruises). The abandoned structure looks like an old castle that is overrun by ghosts!

Unfortunately there are no plans for renovation. The last time the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard looked into fixing it up, they got an estimate for $10 million. Apparently, the asbestos and lead paint is a little on the high side.

Here's my idea: open it up to the public and give tours for an astronomical amount of money. Obviously sign a waiver first before entering and likely getting mesothelioma.
