What is going on with all these recalls?!!  Now they are recalling chicken nuggets?

According to a story from WMUR, Tyson is recalling more than 36,000 pounds of chicken nuggets because some of the products might be contaminated with rubber.  Tyson is recalling the 5 pound bags of Tyson Fully Cooked Panko Chicken Nuggets that were sold nationwide at Club stores.

The report from WMUR gives you all the numbers of the recall that you might need:

  • UPC: 0 23700 03558 5
  • Lots feature “best if used by” dates of Nov. 26, 2019
  • Case codes 3308SDL03 with time stamps of 23:00 to 01:59
  • Establishment “P13556”

It's one of the favorite things to eat in my house.  I don't buy the 5 pound bag, but as I've said before, when there is a recall of any product, I immediately throw it all out in my house, no matter what, just in case.  I'll be doing that today when I get home.

My kids do love Tyson frozen chicken.  I use the frozen patties in my chicken parm, a rather infamous dish here in the Shark Tank.  If you recall, a former afternoon host here on the Shark, Joe Limardi and I went head to head in our very first and only edition of PARMEGEDDON!  Although my chicken parm lost to his, (he used Mama Mary's sauce, I was sunk!)  I would highly recommend putting noodles in the casserole dish, layer with your favorite non-recalled frozen chicken patty, sauce (from a jar, of course) top with whatever cheese you may have in the refrigerator, mexican shredded blend is fine, repeat until you run out of stuff, bake at 350 for about 35/40 minutes and voila!  Easy-peasy chicken parm.
