Is it me, or do the majority of snow storms we experience seem to occur mostly at night?

Well here we go again. Another snowfall expecting to hit the seacoast sometime after dark.

It seems to be happening with more frequency. Many of the snowstorms that hit this area seem to start, and do most of their piling up during the night.

The older I get, the less thrilled I am with any snow that falls at my house after Christmas. Keep it in the mountains for the skiers and snow mobiles.

Working very early in the morning after a snowfall, or even during one, means getting up even earlier in the dark, and immediately hitting the snow blower or shovel sometimes after only being awake for 5 minutes.

So far my neighbors haven't complained about me running the snowblower at 3 in the morning, but it's just a matter of time.

I watch the weather channel, I see other places getting snow during the daylight hours. It's much easier to deal with when you can see what you're shoveling.

I don't ask for much as far as the weather goes. But enough of the night time snow.
