Last night, after I greeted everyone going aboard the Rockin' on the River cruise, my husband and I were pretty hungry, so we decided to try a place we had never heard of before in Portsmouth, but boy are we glad we did!

Ohana Kitchen is located on 800 Islington Street, Portsmouth, in the 800 Plaza and man, oh man, I'm so glad we found it!  Not that it's hard to find, we just never ate there before.  Big huge lot, all free parking.

The food is Hawaiian-inspired poke bowls.  (not sure if you pronounce it POKE or po-KAY.  The should just pronounce it delicious.  You can pick one of the bowls they have on the menu, or you can create your own.

I will admit, at first, I was a little intimidated by all the choices you can make, but when I got my dish, I was happy that I took a little time to figure out what I wanted.

Here's the menu

SO MANY CHOICES!  I ended up getting ahi tuna, quinoa & kale, edamame, 1/2 an avocado and other healthy, yummy stuff.

Good job, you guys!  I'll be back!
