Law enforcement officials are are trying to push across the message that texting while driving is dangerous, and in many cases, illegal.

I can't tell you how often I still see people behind the wheel of a moving vehicle and looking down at their phones to either send or read a text message.

April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and AAA's campaign is titled "Don't Drive Intoxicated-Don't Drive Intexticated".

Maine State Police have joined a New England wide coordinated distracted driving education campaign.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that in 2015, 1 in 10 fatal crashes were reported to be distraction related.

I know of at least two people who have been ticketed for violating the NH "hands-free" law that prohibits using an electronic device while driving.  They paid fines of $125!

Even PGA stars have been pressed into service to get the message across. Jordan Spieth stars in one psa telling us that, "It can wait".
