Arlo Guthrie Will Perform ‘Alice’s Restaurant’ on PBS Thanksgiving Night

We here at The Shark have been proud to play Arlo Guthrie's Thanksgiving anthem 'Alice's Restaurant' every Thanksgiving at Noon. This year, PBS viewers will get a second helping.

This performance is from a show that was recorded back in May at the Colonial Theater in Pittsfield, MA. As of the time of publishing this post, the exact time the show will air on PBS hasn't been revealed. My bet is 8pm.

There is a tour planned for next year as well. Strangely enough, the closest location to New England (the story of Alice's Restaurant takes place in Stockbridge, MA) that the tour will reach is Virginia. I will surely update you on the tour and the special as more information is revealed.
