Bad news Pats fans. It is being reported that starting running back Dion Lewis will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.

Lewis suffered the injury during the 3rd quarter of the Patriots win over Washington yesterday.

He finishes the season with 622 total yards on 85 touches and 4 touchdowns.

Obviously this is terrible news. Not just because the Patriots will be without a very important offensive weapon, but because Dion Lewis can't catch a break.

He's been cut by the Eagles, Browns and Colts and he missed the entire 2014 season due to injury. He finally found the perfect fit for him in the NFL and was having a career year, and now he'll be on the sidelines watching his team battle to make it to the Superbowl.

More carries for Blount and James White and Brandon Bolden will most likely be the pass catching backs. Still a good trio, but the Pats offense could suffer without Lewis as a threat.

Of course, we are talking about the Pats, so they'll find a way to take care of business and get the job done!
