Bethlehem High School Seniors Forego Trip to Help Principal Fight Cancer
The senior class at Bethlehem High School surprised their principal with an incredible gift. Watch as camera's were on hand to capture the moment.
WARNING: You will be choked up after watching this. Holy moly what a gesture by these students.
Courtney Vashaw, the principal at Bethlehem's Profile School, had told her students that she had been diagnosed with cancer and would likely miss time away from the school. It was then, that the seniors stepped up.
Instead of going on their senior trip, they took a vote, and unanimously decided to forego the trip and donate their money to their beloved teacher and principal. Mrs. Vashaw will now have almost $8,000 to use towards her medical expenses.
You can see in the video just how much their actions meant to her. These young men and women of Bethlehem are going places!
Now somebody get me some tissues.
