Black Snow Isn’t Ugly To My Eyes
At this stage of the game, snow that looks like this resembles a rainbow.
Recently, I've seen and read a bunch about how black snow is good because it retains the heat from the sun and melts faster.
That is all I need to know. The folks at Fenway are throwing black sand on their snow to make it melt faster, and who has a better looking lawn than Fenway Park? Nobody.
A black snow bank is not the most pleasant thing to see as you drive your commute. But this is March in New England. Christmas snow is a distant memory and we need to melt this stuff as soon as possible. The high snow banks need to drop, and I need to get resume my pitiful golf game before July.
So curse the uglyness of the black snow all you want. It's a Rembrandt as far as I'm concerned.
