Blizzard of 2015: How to Survive For 40 Straight Hours in a Radio Station
Three things have kept me from going all Jack Torrance up in here for the first 24 hours of this Juno marathon. And I suspect and can only hope they will continue to do so during the next 16 hours.
1 - Proper lodging is key. This air mattress might actually be more comfortable than my mattress at home (I may need to call Serta) and sleeping in the cozy confines of this unused soundproof news booth is ideal.
2 - Proper nutrition is essential to being essential. Eating fresh vegetables and keeping hydrated will provide you the proper vitamins and fuel your body healthfully throughout...alright hopefully my nutritionist is skimming through this and didn't see the glistening chicken parm I used for a picture.
3 - Proper hygiene is highly important. If I don't shower every 12 hours, I start to feel microbes crawling on me. Luckily, we have a great shower here at the Bob Fuller Media Center and using it regularly helps to keep me in a clean routine.
And lastly ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY (just kidding)
