Boston Celtics 2014 Preview – Who the Hell is On This Team?

The 2014 NBA season opens tonight but the fireworks don't really start 'til tomorrow night when the Celtics kick off their regular season against the Brooklyn Nets. Here's a quick crash course on the team's players and a look at the 2014 season.

Yes, Rajon Rondo is still on the team.

Yes, Brad Stevens is still the coach.

Yes, Danny Ainge is still President of Basketball Operations.

As for the rest of the team? The roster now stands at 15 players.

Drum roll please...Brandon Bass, Avery Bradley, Vitor Faveroni, Jeff Green, Kelly Olynyk, Dwight Powell, Phil Pressey, Marcus Smart, Jared Sullinger, Marcus Thornton, Evan Turner, Gerald Wallace, James Young, and Tyler Zeller.

The Celtics start the season at home and then head out to Houston, and then Dallas. Not an easy start to the season. I will say this: the team may lack the skills needed to win games, but at least they try hard....I think.
