A contaminated spring source has led to a recall of many bottled water products that may contain a nasty virus.

Niagra Bottling is recalling the bottled water products after discovering that their spring source had been contaminated with E.coli. according to NECN. The contamination was discovered on June 10.

The company is recommending customers boil the water before drinking, but I think most people would rather just throw it away just to be safe. Products made between June 10 and June 18 are the ones being recalled.

Affected products have codes that start with the letter F or A. The first digit after the letter indicates the number of the production line. The next two numbers indicate the day, then the month in letters, the year, and then the time, based on a 24-hour clock.

A full list of codes can be downloaded here, and these are the bottled water brand names that may contain the contaminated water:

  • 7-Eleven

  • Acadia

  • Acme

  • Big Y

  • Best Yet

  • Morning Fresh

  • Niagara

  • Nature’s Place

  • Pricerite

  • Shaw’s

  • Shoprite

  • Superchill

  • Western Beef Blue

  • Wegman’s
