With all forms of media memorializing the great David Bowie today, I figured I better get my two cents in with a Live track that I think is THE best tune on an incredibly good double Live album recorded in 1974.

This song  is 'Diamond Dogs' which was the title track of the album that 'The Thin White Duke' was promoting for that tour.

The GREATEST show I've ever seen was exactly thirty years later at The Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester for his 'A Reality' tour.

With all the outrageous personality transformations, costumes and glitter, what seems to get lost on the average consumer is how terrific Mr. Stardust was as a live performer. Let alone songwriter. To say he will be dearly missed is an understatement.

And I'd like to leave you with this amazing performance of Bowie's 'Moonage Daydream' by St. Paul and the Broken Bones.
