Cable Snaps After Slingshot Ride Has Been Launched [VIDEO]

I have never been on one of these theme park slingshot rides and this video pretty much solidifies my decision to NEVER go on one of these rides.

You might remember awhile back, I posted a video of the same type of ride and the cable snapped.

At least the ride hadn't started when that happened.

This time the ball of death was launched and as it rapidly plummeted to the ground the cable snaps, sending the orb off course and slamming into one of the 'slingshot' posts.

I don't know if there were injuries or not, but I have to imagine those folks are done with amusement park rides for ever.
