Can’t Drive? No Worries, Google Has Made A Self-Driving Car [VIDEO]

Google has created a self-driving car.  No steering wheel, no brakes, and no accelerator.  Just push a button and you’re off!  I like this idea for one main reason.  This vehicle can provide independence to those that are unable to drive.  For instance, there is a man in the video that is blind, with this car, he no longer has to ask someone else for a ride.  Many people can’t drive, for various reasons, but this vehicle allows them to get from one place to another without assistance from someone else.

The only reason that I don’t like the idea of self-driving cars is that when the machines take over, these cars could lead the way in destroying all of mankind.  Computers are not perfect, and I don’t want to be in a car going fifty miles per hour, with no brakes, when it decides to fail.
