Kyrie Irving's personal scientific beliefs (or non-beliefs) have caused quite a ruckus in the academic community. He has just issued an apology to science teachers that is downright hilarious.

"To all the science teachers, everybody coming up to me like, 'You know I've got to reteach my whole curriculum?' I'm sorry,"

"I apologize. I apologize." - Kyrie Irving

According to this CBS News report, when speaking at the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit yesterday in Boston, Irving issued the preceding apology due to his purported assertions that the Earth... is flat.

When it comes to this controversial subject, (HEY! It was controversial about 500 years ago! Right?) I've always thought that the 5 Time All Star is just pulling everyone's collective leg.

While I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, I AM a conspiracy theorist enthusiast. It's fun to discuss 'The Moon Landing Hoax' or 'Bigfoot' or even that the Earth is a great big rectangle!

If Kyrie helps to put up another Celtics World Championship, he can believe the World is any shape he pleases!
