(Antrim, NH) - New Hampshire authorities have charged a Florida man in connection with a sexual assault that allegedly took place over 40 years ago.

72 year old Michael Narbis of Bradenton, Florida waived extradition after his arrest by the Manatee County Sheriffs Department last week in Bradenton and will be returned to NH to face arraignment. Authorities say the alleged assaults occurred in Antrim in the early 1970's when Narbis lived in the area. Because Narbis moved from NH to Florida in 1974 and never returned, the statute of limitations does not apply to the case. When he returns to NH, he will face a charge of Deviate Sexual Relations, based on the criminal code at the time of the incident. The current criminal code would define the charge as Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault.
