Christa McAuliffe was a beloved social studies teacher here in New Hampshire. We were all devastated when the Challenger exploded on that January day in 1986.  People here in NH remember exactly where they were when they heard the news.

Christa's plan was to film lessons for her children here in NH and across the globe from space!  Although she never got the opportunity, two astronauts who are currently on the Space station are going to fulfill her legacy from there.

According to an article in the Union Leader, tomorrow, Thursday, at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord, you can join one of the Astronauts, Ricky Arnold for a live downlink to the Space Station itself from 2:35 to 2:55pm.
