The recall by Fiat Chrysler affects 85,816 Chrysler 200 sedans worldwide. Certain 2015 Chrysler 200 midsize cars are included, most all sold in the U.S.

According to Fiat Chrysler, some electrical connectors were damaged during post-production tests. The problem might cause the engine to shift gear to neutral unexpectedly, or stall out.

All customers will be made aware of the issue and will get it repaired for free at the dealers.
