Cocheco Valley Humane Society’s has Urgent Need for Supplies, but it’s Not What You Think

When you first read the headline, about how Cocheco Valley Humane Society has an urgent need for supplies, your mind immediately goes to food and other items for the animals they care for. But, this time, they're in urgent need of CANDY!

CVHS's 'Howl for the Animals' event is this coming Saturday, October 13th. The Cocheco Valley Humane Society partners with the very talented people of Haunted Overload to bring families a day of ghoulish fun at DeMeritt Hill Farm in Lee, New Hampshire.

Here's where the urgent need for candy comes in. They generally give out somewhere close to 10,000 pieces of candy to the cute trick-or-treaters during the event. So far, they only have about half the amount they need.

Candy donations can be dropped off at CVHS by Friday, October 12th (preferably during open hours so no critters break into our donation bin for it!).

PS. I should mention, CVHS is always in need of pet food and other items for the animals they care for. So, feel free to donate those supplies as well!
