This real-deal barber shop and shave parlor located on State Street in Concord gets its fifteen minutes of fame on The American Barber.

Hurray for Lucky's in Concord for their recognition as a traditional barber shop, and a nice shout out on the popular web show The American Barber.

The show, hosted by Kyan Douglas a self-proclaimed fashionista and hair expert (??), is in search of one of America's oldest pastimes: barbershops. It travels the country looking for the swirling pole that signifies the perfect haircut and endless charisma.

Eric's Barber Shop in North Hampton is where I spent many of my childhood days getting my hair did. It's also where I learned about serving in the military (he was a veteran), and local politics as well.

I'd admire the work of the barber in a time where everything is homogenized and cookie cutter. It has an unmatched uniqueness and acts as a bridge to past generations.
