The fund is named after a nine month old German Shepard cross that arrived at CVHS a few years back with a leg that had been broken and never repaired, thus causing a deformity.

Champion underwent successful surgery and is doing fine today. But the surgery was costly, and might not have happened without generous donations.

According to the CVHS website:

Every year, Champion’s Fund covers the cost of surgical medical procedures for many of our shelter animals. CVHS is incredibly grateful to our community who generously supports our animals every day. Without your support, our "champions" would not have received medical surgeries that greatly improves their lives and gives them all a second chance.

If you are of mind to donate to the Champion's Fund, you may do so by check addressed to 262 County Farm Road, Dover. You can also text to donate by sending a text to 41444 with the keyword of CVHS and then follow the instructions.

CVHS is a wonderful organization who's goal is to give every animal a chance at a happy life. But they can't do it alone. Thank you in advance.
