‘Dancing With The Stars’ Elimination Predictor: The Curse of Perfection

I've been watching this show since it was introduced as a 6 week Summer replacement 12 years ago and one immutable truth has plagued it since the very beginning. The better your score, the higher the likelihood that you get eliminated. Another star learned that cruel law last night.

Heather Morris received a perfect score last week. THEREFORE, she was eliminated.

You didn't read that wrong. The fewest amount of votes were cast in her favor because the voting public felt that she was safe. It's the strange and unpredictably predictable democracy that I've seen all too often with DWTS.

This is the same strategy that made my batting average plummet throughout last season because I picked Ryan Lochte EVERY week and was wrong for over a month straight.

I'm still proud that my average is above .500 for Season 24 and hopefully for me (and for William Shatner) , justice will be done on May 2nd.
