Day 3 Of Testimony For Kat McDonough In Mazzaglia Murder Trial [NEWS]

(Dover, NH) - Katherine "Kat" McDonough will be back on the witness stand this morning when the Seth Mazzaglia murder trial resumes in Strafford County Superior Court.The states star witness is expected to face questions from defense attorneys about her role in the death of Elizabeth Marriott in October of 2012. McDonough yesterday described in detail how Mazzaglia strangled Marriott with a rope and then had sex with her lifeless body. She also detailed how she and Mazzaglia loaded the body into a suitcase and brought in to Portsmouth, dumping it in the Piscataqua River off Pierce Island. The body has never been recovered.
During opening statements, the defense contended that Marriott died during a consentual sex act with McDonough in Mazzaglias Dover apartment.
