It's National Chocolate Chip Day! I bet you didn't know the Chocolate Chip Cookie was invented right down the road and was done so entirely by accident.

I didn't do all that much research for this fact, all I did was remember this vintage ad from the fine folks at Nestle. Yes, Ruth Graves Wakefield did invent the most popular cookie in Whitman MA. in 1938. The recipe is right here, do not tell anyone you got it from me.
