Don’t Forget to Use the ‘Lock Roll’ Function on Your Aluminum Foil Box, Wait What?

Why am I just learning from this Crazy Russian Hacker guy on YouTube that the Reynolds Wrap box and the Cling Wrap box have a 'Lock Roll' feature on each ends of the box?

"Press Here to Lock Box". How did my parents never teach me about that? I've been using aluminum foil for 30 years and not once have I locked the roll in place. I just risked flailing the roll around like a baton if I pulled too hard.
