Dover Burglar Caught Red Handed

(Dover, NH) - A Rochester woman faces charges after she was arrested for breaking into a Dover business.

36 year old Vanessa Lee Bentley was charged with Burglary after an employee of Janetos Market found Bentley inside the store just after 6 Wednesday morning. Police say Bentley had used a tool to smash a window to gain entry to the Main Street plaza business.

Police say that Bentley had earlier tried to break in to another business, Downtown Discount Beverage on Central Avenue, but was unsuccessful. She is charged with attempted burglary for that.

Police also charged Bentley with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance after illegal drugs found found on her person after her arrest.

Bentley was held on $25-thousand bail pending a court appearance.
