According to a report on WMUR.com, Dover lost 30 million gallons of water in the month of May, and that stream has not slowed down.

That is almost a third of the city's water production, and despite all the technology being used in the search, including listening devices on fire hydrants, the source of the leak is still a mystery.

Many of the pipes used to transfer water throughout the city of Dover were put in place in the late 1800's, so one can imagine that leaks will occur from time to time.

Residents water pressure and water bills have not yet been affected, but if the leak isn't found soon, water restrictions in Dover may be ahead.
