WalletHub has a released a new study on Immigration Economics and I was surprised to see that NH ranked highly in a few key indicators.

Ranking 13th in the category of 'International Students' and 17th for 'Socioeconomic Contribution', The Granite State is ranked as 23rd overall for 'Economic Impact of Immigrants'.

Massachusetts is tied for 1st with The District of Columbia in the category of 'International Students'

When I think of New England and Immigration, my mind only focuses on Plymouth Rock in 1620. It's really eye-opening to see that half the states of New England are ranked in the top half of this politically charged hot button issue.
