If you suffer from high blood pressure, and take medications, check you medicine cabinet. WCVB News 5 in Boston claims that eight more medications used to fight high blood pressure and heart problems has been recalled.

According to the report, Prinston Pharmaceuticals issued a recall for one lot of Irbesartan and seven lots of Irbesartan HCTZ. The company says there were trace amounts of N-nitrosodiethylamine...a carcinogen that was found in an ingredient manufactured by Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceuticals.

That company, based in China, has been the subject of several other recalls of blood pressure medications according to USA Today.

WCVB News 5 says the company has not received any reports of adverse effects related to the recall, and if you take taking Irbesartan you should continue to taking it until a pharmacist provides a replacement or prescribes a different medication.
