It isn't everyday that my accomplishments make front and center headlines on the 'Progress Not Perfection' board at Fit Body Transformations in Brentwood, NH. Yesterday though, was not just an ordinary accomplishment. Prepare yourself to learn about 'The Pain Train'!

The video above demonstrates a perfect plank. You'd never know it by looking at Kristen's example, but this is very difficult to do for more than a few seconds. Yesterday, after a year and a half of progress, I planked for 2 MINUTES STRAIGHT.

The second half  of 'The Pain Train' is comprised of Burpees. My plank time goal has been two minutes and the amount of Burpees I do AFTER the plank is conditional upon the amount of time the plank was held.

EACH 5 SECOND SEGMENT SHY OF 2 MINUTE PLANK = ONE BURPEE

Since I held the full 2 Minute Plank yesterday, I didn't have to do any Burpees!
