Facebook Knows Where You Are At All Times

Facebook is quickly becoming the twitch in my right eye, and here's reason number 526. 

Facebook Messenger's default setting shows exactly where you are when you send a message.

Think about that for a moment. Anybody with nefarious intentions could tell the exact location of someone. Perfect for potential stalkers, jealous suitors and would be robbers.

The good news is that it's easy to turn off. On your iPhone, go to Settings? Location Services? "Turn Location off for Facebook Messenger"

For android, follow the same steps, just un-check the location services box.

Apparently Facebook is " working on the issue". Why am I not comforted by that statement?
