There is one burning question I have concerning The 6th Annual Hampton Beach Lobster Roll Eating Contest and I hope someone can tell me the answer.

As you see here in this Seacoast Online article, Matt Stonie, arguably the greatest competitive eater in the 'sport' today, is seen in a photo at a previous HBLREC event.

He is a former Hampton Beach resident and this July, he ate 62 hot dogs in ten minutes to win the ultimate competitive eating trophy, The Nathan's mustard yellow belt.

Why is he not mentioned in any of the research I've done? 62 hot dogs in 10 minutes and last year's Hampton Beach Lobster Roll winning total was only 15. If anyone knows Matt Stonie personally or knows more about the previous Hampton Beach competition(s) that he took part in, I'm very curious to know how many lobster rolls he consumed.

This event happens Saturday September, 12th at 2pm on The Hampton Beach Seashell Stage. For everything else you need to know concerning The Hampton Beach Seafood Festival this post has all the deets!
