Favorite Cocktail by State: Map Exposes ‘Rugged’ New England as Shockingly ‘Girly’

Say it ain't so! According to Google Trends, after a long day of splitting cordwood and mining granite, we New Hampshire-ites belly up to the bar in our flannel shirts and extend one rugged finger to the sky and say "Cosmo please!"

This seems a lot more Carrie Bradshaw than Terry Bradshaw to me, and four of the New England states agree with NH.

Massachusetts and Connecticut prefer a Martini, which makes perfect sense. After I've dealt with the traffic of both of those States,both the drivers AND the roadways,(mostly the drivers), I'd like nothing more than a gallon of vodka chased with a couple olives.

I've always wanted to try a Sidecar (the favorite drink of California and Oregon) but after seeing it, I think not. It looks like a glass of muddy water being invaded by a tapeworm.
