Federal Cigar Moves to Bigger Digs in Dover

It's hard to believe, but Federal Cigar is celebrating it's 97th year in business!

Over the last few years, the company, which started in Portsmouth, has expanded throughout the seacoast, including Dover a few years back.

Well, according to Fosters.com, Federal Cigar in Dover has moved to a larger space at 505 Central Avenue. The sign is up. It was most recently the home of Baldface books, but I remember the location as the home of the old Dover Drug.

Cigar lovers already know the history of Federal Cigar, including the time honored tradition of matchbook pools for state and national elections.

Though my cigar smoking days are limited to a couple of stogies during a round of golf, I look forward to perusing the expanded selection at the new location in Dover.
