Well it's a big deal in Europe; specifically the countries of Finland, Sweden, and Norway.

Apparently the bottles of the popular whiskey are being pulled from shelves in the Scandinavian countries for containing too much "propylene glycol", or a type of Anti-Freeze. Not to worry though, there's lots of anti-freeze in many of our favorite treats.

According to Fireball's website, "The ingredient in question was propylene glycol (PG). PG is a regularly used and perfectly safe flavoring ingredient. PG has been used in more than 4,000 food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products for more than 50 years. Most people consume PG every day in soft drinks, sweeteners, some foods and alcoholic beverages."

The only reason we'll still see it at liquor stores here in the states is because our requirements are a little looser than our friends across the Atlantic.

So party on, and make sure the next round is Fireball!

Just make sure you strap a GoPro to whatever you're drinking next...
