Next time you're making wings try adding a little italian salad dressing mix to the hot sauce. It provides an extra zing that'll knock your socks off. Try this fool proof recipe for your next football party.

You'll need a big bag of chicken wings. Frozen will work just fine; and no need to thaw.

I like to grill my chicken wings first to add grill marks and a little crunch. If you don't have a grill, go buy one. Or skip this and just use the oven (we'll get to that in a bit).

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt a stick of butter and add a large bottle of Frank's Red Hot. Slowly combine the two with a whisk.

Add 1 packet of Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing and Recipe Mix. Stir in with whisk. Turn heat to low and let simmer.

Coat chicken wings with sauce and place in 350 degree oven. Re-coat with wing sauce every 15 minutes (until sauce is gone). *This is likely to take 50-60 minutes for wings to be done cooking.

Hoard for yourself and serve with Blue Cheese.

Shout out to Shellie Parshley on Facebook for suggesting 'Porcupine Meatballs.' I will give that a try soon.
