For The Second Year In A Row There Won’t Be Any Rochester Fireworks

The fireworks usually take place on July 3rd, but for the second year in a row, the Rochester Fairgrounds will not have fireworks.

The fireworks did not get a sponsor, which means there was no funding for a display. Before last year, The Journey Baptist Church of Barrington was the sponsor, but they decided not to do it last year so they could focus on other projects.

Lets hope they can find a sponsor for next year. Not having fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July in Rochester just seems wrong. The fairgrounds are a perfect spot.

The Dover fireworks are on the 4th at 9:15PM near Henry Law Park.
