Four in Ten Of You Didn’t Take Vacation Last Year

41% of Americans didn't use vacation time in 2015.

The travel news site Skift conducted the survey of more than 2,000 American adults.

One of the reasons sited for the lack of vacations was that a large number of workers surveyed (one in four), don't get any paid vacation from their employers.

Four in 10 workers feel they can't take a vacation day because they fear the amount of work that will be waiting for them when they return.

One in five Americans are afraid of what the boss might think, feeling they'd be letting their employers down if they used all of the vacation time coming to them.

This attitude has to change. Americans, you need to take more vacations! It will improve your health and well being, and actually give you a better attitude when you return to work.
