"Summertime and the livin' is easy" , ahh if the Gershwinn brothers only knew what it was like to be a fat kid when the frozen food delivery truck arrived on a hot summer day.

When I was young I spent a lot of time at my cousin's house. His folks had this huge freezer in their basement and on a monthly basis a massive truck would pull in the driveway and stock it full with pizzas, eggrolls, ice cream, pizzas, cheeseburgers, popsicles, steaks, pizzas, frozen dinners and pizza.

After the truck left, I'd open the door and stare at the newly acquired deliciousness and lapse into a trance quite similar to Danny Torrance in this scene from 'The Shining'.

My haircut was identical to his, though there were two differences between us in this situation.

1 - I was the one muttering the entire inventory (subconsciously).

2 - I probably outweighed young Mr. Torrance by 100 lbs.

And yes, I realize both of the items listed above are intertwined.

In my opinion, the frozen food truck was way better than an ice cream truck as it would save you $3 on a two ball screw ball. (2014 cash equivalent $9.54). And they HAD ice cream too, AND pizza AND chicken fingers AND pizza.
