In fact, the national average price of a gallon of gas went up six cents alone between Thursday and Friday of last week.

But if you think going up six cents in a week is a lot, some states, including Indiana, saw one day increase of 16 cents per gallon last week.

Experts believe we'll be paying close to $2.60 a gallon by years end.

According to GasBuddy, the lowest price on the seacoast of a gallon of regular yesterday was found at BJ's on Woodbury Ave. in Portsmouth at $1.67.
