Get Rid Of Those Ice Dams With ‘Ice Melt Sausages’ [VIDEO]

Ice dams got you down? No worries. You need to make some 'ice melt sausages' to remove those ice dams. Ice melt sausages are a simple, inexpensive and quick solution to those troublesome ice dams.

I heard of this trick recently but was not sure it would work until I saw some videos of people doing it, and wouldn't ya know, it worked in most cases, if done properly.

1. So, first you must purchase rock salt or ice melt from a hardware store.
2. You are going to need pantyhose as well. I would get the cheapest you can find, looks and comfort don't matter for this project.
3. Fill the pantyhose with ice melt and tie off the end. Make as many as you need.
4. Then place the 'ice melt sausages', in the problem areas, creating a channel to allow water flow when the melting begins.
