Despite my overly dramatic artistic rendition of Carroll County being plagued by poorly drawn cacti and large sun bleached cattle skulls just one week ago, there was excellent drought related news for its residents that was just released.

The image on the right is the newly updated US Drought Monitor Map showing that Carroll County is no longer 'Abnormally Dry'!

I realize my illustration of it enjoying a cool drink of water is completely ridiculous, but for a county that contains the second most amount of lakes in this State. There is nothing ridiculous about finally escaping the epic drought of last year. Hooray!
