Great ‘Star Wars Episode VII’ Parody Awakens my Nerd Rage [VIDEO]

I think this parody of the trailer for 'Star Wars Episode VII' is more fun to watch than the original. And you can certainly tell we live in a galaxy where technology isn't far, far away, because the original isn't even one week old, let alone from a long time ago.

This is a funny take off on the Lucasfilm LTD Special Edition re-releases of Episodes 4 through 6 which happened in 1997 in honor of the 20th anniversary of the release of Star Wars. Many nerds were not happy with the overabundance of newly created digital enhancements throughout these films.

I really didn't mind an extra Dewback here or a tie fighter there... what really stirred my inner nerd was the sleekness and increased mobility of Jabba the Hut (seen at :32) I like Jabba as a fat, immobile chuckling warlord that can't even slither the edge of his Rancor pit.
