Here Are 3 Reasons I’m Excited for Prince’s New Album

Prince's estate is releasing a new Prince album on September 28! I am thrilled, and here's why:

1. Prince is gone and that bums me out. If he has some new music out, honestly, it's kind of like he's still here. It's not like I would see him everyday - I mean, I'm not Prince's family or anything, so it's kinda like he's still alive.

2. I can wear purple from now until September and no one will question why. As a matter of fact, I may be starting a trend! Purple is a very royal color, you know.

3. With all the hate in the world, wouldn't a new Prince album do us all good right about now?

Last week, Prince's Estate released the never heard before version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" recorded in the summer of 1984. LISTEN TO IT. I am a child of the 80s. I listened to Prince from the very beginning of his career. This version is INCREDIBLE. I know that Sinead O'Connor made it a hit in 1990, but this version is better. Way better.

Out of all the recent deaths of great musical talent, Prince was the one that affected me the most. May he rest in peace on a purple cloud filled with.... say it with me.... Purple Rain.
