Some whipped out their snowblowers, even if they didn't have to.

New snow always receives a ton of traction on social media, and it's polarizing. While many winter enthusiasts were overjoyed at a few inches of fresh new snow, others clearly were not ready as the white stuff piled up.

Ski areas like Attitash were elated.

According to WMUR ABC 9, amounts were scattered over the Granite State. Depending on your view, Meredith either skated by, or didn't get enough as they received 2.1 inches. Communities such as Wentworth recorded a similar amount of 3.2 inches, and Ashland took in a full 4 inches.

Not surprisingly, snowfall amounts were on the higher side as you traveled north. Jefferson recorded 7 inches of fresh snowfall, while there was a three way tie for the highest total. WMUR ABC 9 reported Lancaster, Milan, and Whitefield all recorded 7.5" inches.

With snow a possibility in the near future, residents could be gearing up for a very busy winter. Are you excited?
